Firsts.

Tonight will be our first night in the house. Wowza, right?

I smashed my finger today, and it's twinging a bit as I type. I'm sure it'll be black and blue tomorrow.
Here's hoping that unpacking goes well. I'm considering having a Moving In Garage Sale... or at least taking more stuff to be donated or something.

It feels good...but weird. A lot like those moments where you realize that you have to step-up and be an adult. Weird.

Better get movin'

We closed yesterday morning and we started moving in. We're resting at the moment, waiting to take another load over to the house and get things put away.

Movers are coming on the 27th, I'm ready. I'm ready to be out of this apartment now.

It's a go!

We close on Friday, May 22nd. The movers come on the 27th to get all the big stuff.

It's really happening.

The Shrubbery - Need to find out what I've got going on here. I may wind up moving and replanting these along the side of the house and putting something else here.

One week.

We're still set to close on the 22nd of May. Movers are slated to arrive on the 27th to move the big things. I'm hoping that in that week between the two, we can get the majority of the smaller things moved and unpacked.

Accent colors... I have, like, ZERO ideas here. There are a lot of colors I like, but I can't decide on just a couple or...however many.

So, apparently they've put in the yard, tree and shrubbery today. That's right, I said "shrubbery". *grins*

I'm excited to see everything this afternoon.
